Anouare Abdou

Anouare is a freelance lifestyle journalist whose work has appeared in publications

such as Urban Expressions (the Montreal Gazette), Student Health 101, Dress To Kill

and TheRichest. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in multiplatform journalism from

Concordia University, she tells stories with creativity and integrity. Being a video

host allows her to get out of her comfort zone, discover new things and meet

passionate people on a regular basis—some of the values she lives by.

When she is not busy sharing what makes Montreal an awesome and vibrant city to

be in, you can find her lifting weights at the gym or indulging in gooey, freshly baked

cookies. Anouare is the founder of the fitness and healthy living blog Sweets &

Squats and she is in the process of writing her first mystery novel.
