Montreal Urban Race is an city-wide competition which involves several teams competing in challenges set up by the Gamemaster. 

 

Our mission is to inform our audience about various Montreal groups, businesses, art & history through a reality show.

 

The race is brought to you by the "What's Up Montreal?" Team and Bell Media

 

​The show is created by an Urban Planning student from Concordia University, Baghdig. The idea came to him when one of his professors gave his students a very detailed walking tour of the South-West region of Montreal. Baghdig wanted to make a game out of it, by leaving blanks in the explanations; creating a treasure hunt feel to the game. The tour included both historical and artistic elements allowing one to explore and discover the city with a new perspective.
